Sunday, July 17th – Waterton National Park, Alberta to Glacier National Park, Montana - Day 156
We woke up in the morning to a few additional visitors to our pull out. We packed up and headed into Waterton National Park. The visitor centre was lovely. We spent some time completing a search for Indigenous names of different animals by touring the gardens. There was a great animal scat display. With dog tags earned we ditched the trailer and headed to the Red Rock Parkway.
The Red Rock Parkway took us through mountains to a picnic area near the trail to Blakiston Falls. We walked the 2.4 km trail to two metal platforms overlooking a beautiful waterfall. We needed to hurry back to the visitor centre if we wanted a chance to swim at the beach.
To be continued...
